But just days ahead of the formal launch, it has now been said that the new Pixel models will be available for pre-orders right after the October 9 event. Google has reportedly been sending promotional emails to announce the pre-order detail. The latest development comes just after a teaser video released by the Google Japan channel suggested the presence of the Active Edge feature on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The new Pixel 3 models also recently surfaced in official-looking renders that highlighted their Black and White colour options. Additionally, the Pixel 3 lately spotted on China's JD.com with a price tag of CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 52,800). Apple and Amazon denied a Bloomberg report on Thursday that their systems contained malicious computer chips inserted by Chinese intelligence, statements from the tech companies released separately by Bloomberg showed. Bloomberg Businessweek cited 17 unnamed intelligence and company sources as saying that Chinese spies had placed computer chips inside equipment used by around 30 companies, as well as multiple US government agencies, which would give Beijing secret access to internal networks.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Price Cut in India Again   Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the company's premium bezel-less display smartphone from last year, has received yet another price cut in India. The handset was launched by Xiaomi in India back in October 2017. It had arrived in a single variant in India priced at Rs. 35,999. But, with the latest price cut, the Mi Mix 2 is available for Rs. 29,999. Notably, it is a permanent price drop and is applicable on Mi.com, Mi Home, and official partners such as Flipkart.
